Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTEN 8.39.24 lunch Well it was not what we expected when we went in. It's a bar with a small restaurant area that does have outside seating. It's very much a local hangout. Looking at the reviews I figured this for a good place for a burger because everyone talked about their meats but when she said the patties were frozen I asked what was the best thing. Mexican food. The lady makes her own refried beans and things from scratch. Well, I was not excited because I don't do much Mexican food outside of Texas but we were hungry and decided to chance it and we were glad we did. Really good homemade beans, chicken chili, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and sour cream in my 1/2 order of the pile up. Diane had a fried taco and tostada that were equally good. If you find yourself in the area, we do recommend the Mexican food. Two thumbs-up

Great find in the village of Lyman! Super friendly service. My pulled pork sandwich was fantastic. Only a few groups in at lunch so you could hear food sizzling on the grill. Definitely worth a stop!

This is a fun surprising hole in the wall in a very small, dying town. The food was awesome and the wait staff were very nice. Lots of locals were there for dinner and it is clearly a neighborhood favorite. The bar tender was getting peoples drinks ready before they sat down and ordered them. Love this kind of a small, quaint diner.

I've never been here. But it was worth the drive to go. The restaurant itself is very clean and well taken care of. Decor is rustic and welcoming. There is an outdoor area where im told on the weekends is pretty fun. I opted for the special which was 6 shrimp with slaw and fries. The shrimp was huge and fried just right to a golden crisp. I would trek out again to try more menu items.
